Anyone else getting geared up for Escape from Alcatraz? A little less than a month left - it's my first Escape, and based on all the rave reviews, I can't wait!

Ashley, I raced Alcatraz last year - greatest sporting event I have ever done in my life, bar none. I will be back for more...
Any other Team Aquaphor members racing Alcatraz this year? Bring shirt to pre-race event - we could arrange a Team picture.

Absolutely! I'm also planning on attending one of the clinics in the days prior to the race offered by Water World Swimming. I've heard great things about the group, and swims with Pedro. Right now I'm leaning toward the Saturday morning clinic, so if anyone else is interested in joining, feel free to contact me!
I think a pre-race photo op is definitely in order - we'll have to arrange a meet up. I'm not terribly familiar with the race-day timeline, so I'm open to suggestions on a when and where.

I suggest we plan to meet at the Fitness festival on Saturday afternoon. Last year they had a pre-race briefing - we could plan to meet after the first one - pick a vendor to meet by.
Is Aquaphor a displaying vendor at the festival? If not, we can pick another.
