Aquaphor hats: What Brand are they???

Of the handful of running hats I have, the Aquaphor is by far the best. I have a SweatVac and a few others, but none of them seem to have 'worn in' as well. However, I can't find what brand they are. They have an 'aG' on the back, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Someone told me they are All-Gear, but I can't find that brand either.

Little help???

Pro needs place to stay in Phoenix for IM AZ

Hi all

My coach has an athlete who is racing IM AZ in Nov. As my coach is in Maine, he asked if I had any contacts in the Phx area (I am in Tucson) who wouldn't mind hosting a pro for the race.

I am not sure how long he would need to stay but probably not more than a couple of days and it could be a lot of fun.

If you are interested or know someone who has extra room, PLEASE please please let me know.

Hi -

I moved back to NYC from LA a few months ago and wanted to see if I could get the contact list for people in this area, since I only have the LA list. Could someone forward it to me? Do any of you New York members train together or can you recommend a good group? I live in Fort Greene in Brooklyn and I joined some meetup Brooklyn/NYC Tri online thing but I haven't gotten involved yet since most rides seem to be in Central Park.

It looks like there are a few more races through October in NJ, is anyone doing them?

Congrats to to all the featured athletes! I really like Pete's quote this month "pain is invevitable, suffereing is optional" - awsome quote! Who did you get this quote from? My favorite quote, which I posted on my feature, comes from the 2007 Hellgate 100k T-shirt ,which the legendary David Horton, extreme ultrarunner puts on. Did you see The Runner? If you have not, check it out - this IS my favorite video about running. This quote totally embodies what I think (and obviously you do) about endurance sports. Pete, I hope you are having a good season. Maybe we'll see each other someday at an ultrarunning event. Cheers.

Chicago Marathon - 3rd annual Team get together?

In 2006 we had a great pasta dinner party with about a dozen members of Team Aquaphor and Team Polar prior to the Chicago Marathon.

Last year I was unable to participate so I don't know how things turned out, though I remember that a gathering was coordinated.

So this year I figured I would start the ball rolling on this topic, since I am coming back to Chicago to run as a Pace Leader. Though I am thinking more along the lines of a Saturday luncheon event or even Friday night dinner this time to improve our restaurant availability.

So who is participating this year and who might be interested in a group get together?
